In the book "In the Cards Fame", there are many themes. The two main themes in the book are that you shouldn't judge someone on how they are and that you shouldn't treat people different if they are different from you.
You shouldn't judge someone by how they are because you can really hurt their feelings. That’s one of the main themes because in the book, they have auditions for a play. So when the kids in the play realize that Francesca, the girl that plays Sally, is really bad at acting, they keep talking about her. Then Eve goes up to her and asks her why she’s in the play. She said her dad made her audition because he is a big television producer. So then Eve understands how she wanted to show her dad that she was good. The author probably wanted to tell that to the reader so they could understand that rumors could be big lies and it can really hurt people.
You really shouldn't treat people different because they are different from you. This theme describes my book because Eve is a very different person. She fights with her parents a lot, very untidy, and kind of violent. People always would think that she was a gremlin. After the play though, those people realized that Eve wasn’t much different from them, she just had a harder life. The author put this in the book to tell the reader to not make fun of people when you think they’re different.
I think this book was very good. I also think it gave the readers good tips on their future life. So now after people read this, they might change how they treat people, and they could change other people's lives too.
